Supporting Migrant Workers Through a Community Care Visit

We have long paid close attention to the needs and everyday challenges of migrant workers in Taiwan. Guided by our commitment to caring for migrant workers and giving back to society, the Digital Idea team recently visited the Taiwan Lourdes Association to support migrant workers and vulnerable communities through direct action.
The visit gave us a deeper understanding of the organization’s long-term care services and helped us learn more about the needs and challenges migrant workers face while living in Taiwan.
This visit was more than a community exchange; it was part of Digital Idea’s ongoing corporate social responsibility. We hope our continued involvement will bring greater support and warmth to migrant workers and others in need.

Tapping into the Migrant Worker Market: Earn Shopping Rewards with Small Remittances and Bill Payments at 7-ELEVEN

To meet the financial and telecommunications value-added service needs of foreign workers and international students in Taiwan, 7-ELEVEN has partnered with 數位至匯 to launch a digital remittance service via mobile apps. Migrant workers from Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam can easily make small-amount remittances through familiar apps such as IndoGo, GoPadala, and GoVN. Users can then complete their payments at any 7-ELEVEN store by presenting a mobile payment barcode or printing a payment slip via the ibon kiosk.
